How Does Fashion Influence the Lives of Students?

This is the era of fashion, and fashion has a huge impact on our lives. In fact, it adds diversity to our lives, bringing an aspect of enthusiasm to something new and unusual, otherwise it would be a monotonous life if we dressed and acted the same way.

Fashion is an expression of a special style, especially in clothes, shoes, accessories or make-up. It’s part of the style of doing something, looking different and interacting with others. It covers a wide range of categories such as behavior, speech, action, manners and lifestyle. There are many intellectual disputes about fashion, clothing and its importance in modern society. Fashion and clothing can be defined as everything that unites our society. Fashion can be defined as an existing standard or style of clothing, manners and way of communicating, while clothing is defined as collective clothing. If fashion and clothing were removed from our lives, there would be no place for individuality, and the world’s population would remain the same. The distinction of social classes, which was clearly defined in the 18th century, but still remains, will also be lost. The eradication of fashion and clothing will also change the dynamics of social peace and social relations.

Short of the word “modern,” the mod refers to a young lifestyle that originated in London in the 1960s and quickly spread to other parts of the world. Being in fashion is not only desirable, but also pleasant. Young students are very often fond of fashion and immediately begin to follow the trends, so fashion strongly affects our youth. Fashion has a permanent impact on society. It affects our views and attitudes towards social culture. We introduce a new way of life through fashion and awaken awareness to restore a new line of customs. This is a leading social statement for students to enter their social environment. Malcolm Barnard says in his book “Fashion as Communication”: “Fashion and clothing have always been interpreted as forms of communication” (39). Students use fashion to share feelings and beliefs.

The decade of 1920 is called the era of bright youth for its wild and jazz expression. During this time, the energy of youth was released in a new way, and no style seemed too ridiculous to become a high fashion. Our world is globalized. Celebrities play a very important role in the lives of young people. Students explore their favorite icons to stay up to date. While watching TV or using the Internet, they are easy to attract to a variety of trendy concepts. In addition, students idealize their favorite celebrities and always want to be like them, to go out of their way to emulate the appearance and lifestyle of their idols. They try to catch all the existing fashion of their company to emphasize their individuality. Every time they talk, they talk about new things that can be changed. In their daily lives, they use unnatural manners of expression, speech and mannerisms that are relatively artificial.

In my opinion, there are two categories: the positive and negative impact of fashion on students.

Fashion in our society has many negative consequences for students. They think only about the new fashion, and this leads to a lot of money. Consequently, they cannot fulfill other life needs. It always distracts them from their studies. Once style or fashion gets into trend, the student community immediately pursues it, no matter how much hassle they create. On the other hand, they get into a fashion confusion because of the influence of society. To follow a certain fashion, you have to take a number of actions, and to do this, some students go beyond their abilities, just to engage their surroundings. After all, instead of ingenuity, they became hopeless and depressed because they were fashionable. On the other hand, it is also believed that money spent on fashion can be spent on various other purposes, such as charity and assistance to the poor.

Fashion creates an unattainable standard for students. They all want to be attractive and glamorous, like celebrities on television or in magazines, and therefore spend a lot of time and money making a good impression on others.

Students who pay more attention to fashion tend to be the least aware of their studies. They believe that by adopting certain fashion trends, they will achieve a certain difference between their peers, which will make them less value their academic careers.

Fashion also has its advantages. For example, when teenagers are happy with their appearance, it gives them self-esteem and self-confidence. They also feel more independent and acceptable in a social context. If students follow a certain trend, they can learn their identity by meeting different people in a society with similar interests and a sense of style. Wearing fashionable clothes shows the status of a person. People believe that in fashionable clothes a person is more progressive. Malcolm Barnard says in his book “Fashion as Communication”: “Fashion and clothing have always been interpreted as forms of communication.”

Students eventually discover that it is not good for them to constantly follow others or imitate others. Instead, they must learn to be innovative and develop their own sense of style. This helps them become stronger, more independent and more inventive. Fashion is the name of self-expression, it proves that people can feel comfortable freely, and this leads to a more prosperous and prosperous society.

Fashion is an art form, and because art is good for society, fashion is also. Fashion is the main reason for companies to invest more in the spread of the latest clothes, trends and improvement of life. It is impossible not to agree that fashion occupies an important place in the life of every student. Sometimes it can be the source of what makes life more enjoyable. On the other hand, for some people it can be life-threatening. So it’s best to stay modernized with fashion, but if it has any effect on your performance, you should avoid it. In general, fashion can be entertaining, exciting and harmless. Fashion is a way of earning and employing thousands of people.
