History
Here it would be interesting to miss the history of fashion week. Let me shed some light on that. Edna Woodman Chase, the former editor-in-chief of Vogue in 1914, organized “Fashion Fete” to capitalize on the war effort, often referred to as the very first apocryph fashion show. By the 1920s, the fashion show had become mainstream. The first performances were often more theatrical than they are today.
